IMVU lets you send credits straight to another player with Send a Gift. You can also buy something from their wishlist, or buy credits or VIP for them in the Dollar Store.
Send credits directly
- Open Send a Gift on IMVU and choose Credits.
- Pick the friend you want to send them to.
- Enter the amount and confirm.
The rules:
- The minimum gift is 100 credits.
- Both accounts need a verified email address.
- IMVU limits how many credits you can send.
- Promo credits from offers cannot be gifted. Only regular credits can.
Gift an item from a wishlist
Open your friend’s wishlist, pick an item and buy it as a gift with your credits. It lands in their inventory with your note.
Gift credits or VIP from the Dollar Store
In IMVU’s Dollar Store, choose a credit pack or VIP and select “Make it a gift”. You pay with real money and the credits or VIP go to your friend.
Can’t send credits?
Check that both emails are verified, that you are sending regular credits and not promo credits, and that you have not hit the gifting limit. Never give your password to someone who says they will “send credits” for you.
